SELF

The placement of the photograph = When i am behind the pictures I can see pieces of myself in the photos i make. When I am going throughout my daily life I see beautiful things and feel the need to capture the moment in a picture.
Smile = In the picture I am smiling because I try to remind myself as much as possible to smile and enjoy moments as much as I can. When you enjoy the memories you create you will appreciate them more later.
Posture = I was unsure of what I was creating and didn't feel too confident about how this would turn out.
The record = I love music and how it can bring people together, Many of the people I know share similar interests in music which brought them closer.
The eye = I can see myself inside of music and also when I sing.
The Hat = The hat in all the pictures was something to hind behind, a sense of comfort so I wouldn't look so recognizable, therefore I couldn't be embarrassed when others critiqued my work.

QUESTIONS
What were your standards for this piece of work?
My ultimate goal in these photos was to portray my inner qualities and how I feel about many things that impact my life and to comment on them in a photograph. I wasn't expecting the most breathtaking photographs, but instead ones that had the most meaning to me. My photographs are an example of how I feel these things fit into my life and an expression of my thoughts.

Did you do your work differently than other people did theirs?
Yes, I saw a lot of people taking old pictures and piece them together rather than making new photos. Instead of making photos with meaning they will most likely slap on some faulty meaning. Even if the photos aren't important at all to them. But some people who did work hard that I saw in the class made some wonderful photos that had deep meanings in them. I enjoyed many of the other students work.
